AIT - Asian Institute of Technology

AIT is an international institute established in 1959 which promotes technological change and sustainable development through higher education, research, and outreach. AIT Extension identifies and responds to regional opportunities for continuing education, training and consultancy, and thus helps realize AIT's mission to develop highly qualified and committed professionals who will play a leading role in the sustainable development of the region and its integration into the global economy.

The Center for Disaster Management has a multi-faceted partnership with the AIT, including an ongoing World Bank-assisted project titled “Training program design and delivery under Sindh Resilience Project (SRP)”.


ADN - Avoidable Deaths Network

Based in Leicester, United Kingdom, the Avoidable Deaths Network (ADN) is a diverse, dynamic, inclusive and innovative global membership network dedicated to avoiding human deaths from natural hazards, naturally triggered technological hazards and human-made disasters in low- and middle-income countries.

The Center for Disaster Management is officially partnered with the Avoidable Deaths Network (ADN) for knowledge sharing and collaborations on DRR and DRM related initiatives in the region. 


GADRI - Global Alliance of Disaster Research Institutes


GADRI is a forum for sharing knowledge and promoting collaboration on topics related to disaster risk reduction and resilience to disasters and is a network of networks guided by organizational values for disaster risk reduction that are reflected in the GADRI Charter.

The Center for Disaster Management at the University of Management and Technology is an official member of the Global Alliance of Disaster Research Institutes. The first and only member from Pakistan as of yet.
